Pizza Hut Franchises Top in 2009

When one thinks of Pizza Hut, two things come to mind: a red roof and delicious pizza with an endless list of toppings available. Created in 1958 at Wichita State University by two brothers attending the school, the restaurant got a quick start with the first franchise unit opening only a year later in Topeka, Kansas. Today, Pizza Hut is part of the Pepsi enterprise and caters to those in over 100 countries with 34,000 restaurants open. Units ranging from dine-in, carryout only and even kiosks are all a significant part of the Pizza Hut success and availability.

Pizza Hut is one of the numerous pizza joints within the country; however, this franchise offers far more than just pizza, providing a variety of menu items as well as a memorable family outing experience. In terms of the menu, you can get just about anything one can imagine on a pizza, with a variety of crust options, including the infamous cheese stuffed-crust. Outside of pizza, these restaurants offer wings, breadsticks, onion rings, and more. Recently Pizza Hut has also become "Pasta Hut," providing several options ranging from lasagna to chicken alfredo. Promoting family fun, many locations host a miniature arcade and can provide the perfect birthday celebration location. Furthermore, for the last 25 years this restaurant has sponsored "Book It" a program geared at increasing reading among children, which awards a personal pan pizza for goal completion. With a solid foundation in making quality pizza available to consumers while providing a welcoming family environment in support of education, investors can invest in more than just a consistent restaurant.

Pizza Hut is world-known and famous for being an affordable restaurant providing numerous pizza options and combinations, while recently looking outside of the box and expanding their menu to consist of pastas. For those on the run, many locations also have carryout, delivery, or kiosks to meet your needs. With a welcoming environment suitable for anything from a mid-afternoon snack to a laid-back family dining experience, one is sure to enjoy a trip to a nearby location. Someone interested in becoming more involved may choose to invest in this stable family-friendly restaurant that has been expanding since the late 1950s.

If, of course, they can support 638k-2.9 million plus the 6.5% ongoing royalties, working with employees, not to mention the necessary reduced time with friends and family. However, for those of you that are more like me, there are other means of owning your own business with less of the fallbacks of a large franchise. Click the link below to find out more about one of them.
