Interesting New Web 2.0 Franchise Concept Where Franchisees Can Own the City of Their Choice

I noticed an interesting new Web 2.0 franchise delivering local content together with global internet services. They have a very interesting range of well targeted services (travel, hotel booking, real estate, classified, buy/sell a business, forum, entertainment, dating, jobs posting, city information and others).

This franchise concept is very interesting and franchisees can obtain a franchise for a specific city or even for a country.

Users will find the most though after services under one roof, delivered via high end applications. Each franchise (website) is dedicated to a specific city or country, and automatically displays relevant local content together with global search capabilities for all their internet services.

I believe it is a great advantage as it provides users with content that really matters to them; let's call it the local ingredient. After all while it may be cool to meet someone or see a house for sale on the other side of the world but users have much more interest to what and who is in the area where they live.

Users can create and upload their own content is the section of their choice, and is not only allowed to participate in the site's content but actually encouraged doing so; creating a relationship between users and the site.

Another advantage is the partnerships developed in each destination with local residents and organizations whom are passionate about their city; offering the international users a wealth of information, capabilities and information including the possibility to meet people and businesses.

While the local content plays a particularly important role, the ability to reach globally is not to be downplayed; it allows reaching businesses and users in any countries, and is great for users who seek travel and business related information.

Today the choice offered on the internet force users to register in different sites for each service required; for the most part those sites offer either only local content or are lost offering far too many choices.

With the current crisis I suspect more people will turn to the internet, both to cut business expenses and for fun, so for those who want to be self-employed or go into the franchising business it is well worth checking out.

Franchise terms are great offering very competitive terms, among them; a minimum of 80% gross margin and no monthly fees.

It also has the advantage to be a turn-key opportunity requiring no prior knowledge.
